I’ve moved into my new place (photos to come soon) and you know there are always a few things that you need to buy to settle in. For me, the showerhead is top on that list.
This is the AquaScape Rain Shower head from WaterPik. It’s good. 60 nozzles good! It’s like standing in the rain, naked. Personally, I prefer that vs. the powerful blast of water that feels like it could peel off my skin. I want a soothing shower…not a firehose like experience where I get pushed toward the back wall due to the water pressure.
If I have someone come over that likes things a little on the rougher side. They can press a little button on the back of the shower head to just use the “Powerspray”, which means it just uses the center holes (not the surrounding ones) to give you a higher pressure blast.
I did make one little modification to the setup. I added a extension bar, as pictured. It lets you easily adjust the height and it extends the shower head away from the wall so you don’t feel like you have to stand with your legs straddling the spigot.
I realize not everyone cares about something as simple as a showerhead, but considering it’s something I do every morning…I might as well make it enjoyable. If you have never experienced a ‘rain shower’ effect…come on over. Try mine!
