I don’t normally consider myself to be a follower….but with it’s increased popularity, I’ve signed up for Twitter again. I was a member long ago…before it was cool. But because it wasn’t cool, it didn’t have all that it has now. Being able to search twitter is fascinating to me….real time information from the masses. And I’ve been drawn into following along with some of my favorite artists like Meiko and Joshua Radin.
One of the other things I love about Twitter now vs Twitter then is Twikini. It’s a Twitter application for my Windows Mobile phone and it works wonderfully. Its packed full of so many more features than other Twitter applications I’ve tried before.
Many only let you tweet text…lacking the ability to post an image. Twikini uses the Twitpic service to let you add images right from your phone. Another feature I like is the ability to have Twikini update my location by using the GPS. I hear my stalkers really love that feature.
So if you Tweet…and you have a Windows Mobile phone, I suggest Twikini. Which always brings to mind a picture of a Twitter bird in a bikini…they really need to use that as their logo.
