I’m ready to be on Fear Factor
Late last night I decided I was hungry and went to make myself a snack. I cooked up some of those shell pastas, tossed in a little butter, garlic powder, oregano and basil. It smelled really good and I sat down to enjoy my little creation. It was pretty good too.
I’m not sure how 1 extra ingredient got into my dish. It was late and I didn’t have a lot of lights on in the kitchen. It could have been in the bowl I used, the pan I cooked with or perhaps even in the pasta that I cooked up. But about half way through my dinner I saw a HUGE spider in my food.
It was dead, cooked and all curled up like they get. I’m not sure how intact it was. It was definitely still spider-shaped but as to how many legs had come off and been consumed by me I don’t know. For a moment I even thought “but this is so yummy, maybe I’ll just scoop out the spider and eat the rest”. But I decided it wasn’t meant to be and trashed the rest.
On the bright side, maybe it’s a radioactive spider and I’ll develop powers like shooting webs out of my wrists, climbing buildings with my fingertips or being able to kiss Kirsten Dunst upside-down.
